ANNOUNCEMENTS
The OSRC provides access for the public to enjoy scenic rivers. If you're looking to camp at one of these access areas this holiday weekend, please look over the following rules!

1. Camping is not allowed in Buck Ford, Edmondson, Stunkard, or under the bridges.
2. Camping fees are $12 per night. This fee includes one vehicle. There is a $4 charge for each additional vehicle.
3. Camping fees are collected on site by OSRC employees.
4. All camping areas are primitive, meaning there are no showers or electricity.
5. Round Hollow, Todd, and the US 62 Bridge are no alcohol access areas. Alcohol can be possessed on the grounds but cannot be consumed.

TIPS FOR FLOATERS 


PRIVATE FLOAT PERMIT INFORMATION 

  Visitors with their own flotation devices, including canoes, kayaks, rafts, and inner tubes, may purchase private float permits at the OSRC headquarters. Day use permits are $1 per device and annual permits, which are valid from January through December, are $10 per device. Day use permits can also be purchased at the Illinois River Store, Sparrow Hawk Camp, Elephant Rock Nature Park, and Hanging Rock Camp.
